All-nighter...
So this morning at around 9am, I was walking 58th Street and saw the same CSC/Arri truck in the same spot. The guys were loading up an insane amount of C-Clamps. Previously at around 8pm, the previous night, the truck was just unloading. Seems like a rather unusual shooting schedule, and a long one at that.
I wonder what they were shooting.

Dear, The Oscars.
You suck.
I forgave you for your snubbing of Christopher Nolan and “The Dark Kinght” because I almost understood the implacations of why you did it. I was not, and still am not, happy with it. But, I decided to deal.
I forgave you for snubbing Clint Eastwood and “Gran Torino” and I didn’t even begin to grasp the reasons why. I thought to myself,...

I'm really pissed!
I just read that the upcoming film version of Bret Easton Ellis’ “The Informers” will not include the vampire characters.
WHAT!?
I’m almost finished with the book and quite honestly, that’s the only part that I truly found to be amazing. Sadly disappointed by this.
However, the story is typical Ellis and will surely be decent at worst.
Note to self:
Next time spend the extra $.79 to get the Canada Dry Ginger Ale instead of the store brand. You’ll thank yourself when you take a swig and it doesn’t taste like crap.

And there it is again. In one fail swoop another backwoods redneck idiot does it again: makes a mockery of the South and Christianity. It’s people like the unnamed girl, I shall henceforth refer to as The Moron, that make me cringe whenever I say “I’m a...

Currently working on my latest screenplay. I’m a few scenes in. I’ve started this story before but lost all of my work on it. Bummer. However, having lost all of that has forced me to take a closer look at what I was planning to say with this project. I’m already making different choices and going a few new directions.
Writing is so much fun.
This is going to be my great...

Michael Green sidesteps some more obvious choices (Watchmen, Avatar) and picks his nine most anticipated films for the year. New works from Scorsese, Tarantino, the Coens and Wes Anderson feature, and he’s supplemented the list with 18 further choices also showing promise.
