Oh Japan, you crazy crazy people.
“Fried shrimp.”
This is too damn retarded•ly awesome not to repost it. Earlier Rian Johnson Tweeted about it, so it was nice to come in for the night and find the trailer awaiting me in my Dashboard.

The official site for the 9:16 film festival
makingofmovies:
9by16:
What is 9:16? At its basic it’s an aspect ratio. It’s certainly tall and it’s a screen size I’ve not considered until Apple added video to the iPhone. There are 2 categories for this online festival. One Shot: It is a video in one shot. Maybe it’s shot on an iPhone 3GS since that is the reason for this format and festival, but it does not have to be. It is one shot no...

First off, thanks to Kevin for the response to my question. At least I understand why many are sore about it, even though I can’t really understand the actual being sore part.
Secondly, that’s hopefully the last time I address anything remotely political. I hate politics. I think Republicans and Democrats are two labels for the same suit. And I’d much rather go back to...
What's the big deal?
Why is everyone freaking out about the whole Fox NEWS calling Mark Sanford a Democrat thing? I mean, did any of you believe any network tells actual news truthfully? It’s a shame that people are more upset that Fox allegedly, purposely, placed the “(D)” by Mark Sanford’s name instead of being more upset about what the man did—abused his elected and appointed...
Lawsuit targets 'rip-off' of 'Catcher in the Rye'... →
It’s a blatant rip-off! I mean, it even claims itself as such on the back cover, saying that it’s a sequel. And the psuedonym used, J.D. California, what a mockery!
There’s only one Holden Caulfield. The courts had better agree.

I'm just going say it.
With all the recent production stills and what-not floating around from Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” realization, I’m just going to say it:
I think he may be going overboard.
It’s happened before. But, I hope I’m wrong on this one.
You couldn’t find a better way to summarise the idiocy and emptiness of...

Sickness.
I’ve started three new screenplays in the past three months.
I think I have a sickness. I need help. I’m starting new stories, which is great, but I need to finish them. Must focus. One at a time. Until completion.
But, ultimately, I’m definitely not complaining. I mean, this is great!

Sometimes.
Sometimes when I wear my eyeglasses I forget that they’re not sunglasses, and thusly, people can see me when I stare. So, I wind up staring at people for uncomfortable lengths of time before I realize they know I’m staring.
It’s just so hard not to stare in this city.
Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here! This is the War Room.

I still find the trailer for The Road to be just plain horrible.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m certain the film is going to be great. But the trailer is just plain bad. Classic case of the marketing team trying to drum up a mainstream-esque preview for a cleary-not-mainstream film. This is a great disservice. It prostitutes the film and it frustrates unwitting audience members.

I just have to say...
I FREAKING LOVE THIS NEW THEME!!!
