Tarantino Script Suite Including Django Unchained →
writerofscreen: You have to “Pay with a Tweet”, but a great resource and of course access to the leaked copy of the script-which may not stay up long!

“There is no reason a police officer should enter an intoxicated woman’s...”

There Will Be Blood, live-tweeted →
austinkleon: My friend @jamesfflynn couldn’t sleep, so he live-tweeted TWBB through the lens of his theory that TWBB is as much about filmmaking as it is oil/capitalism. I figured it was a good time for me to figure out how to use Storify. Enjoy! This is pretty good.

Today I saw HESHER. It was so inspiring that I rushed home and wrote an entire outline for a story I’ve battled with for nearly four years. It’s all on paper: Act One, Act Two, Act Three, and all the little scenes in between that make up a story. Now it’s time to bring that outline to life in Final Draft. Thanks, HESHER.

Fifteen Days Away From Social Networking. Here’s what I learned: Distractions are everywhere; remove one and find three more Not accessing social media isn’t so bad Sticking to the initial one month plan would be a moot point Spiritual stagnation leads to lots of life-sucking rigmarole I am my own worst enemy You can’t force creativity, but maybe you should try harder to ...

No (social) Media May
Maybe not for you, but for me. I’m cutting off my access to all social media outlets: Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook and any others I can’t think of at the moment. For some, social media and social networking are great means to accomplish their immediate or end goals. For me, they are distractions from it. I spend more time reading and looking at ultimately useless stuff and less time...
