Where is Pancakes House?

The brainless and banal postings of an as-yet-to-be writer; particularly of short fiction and screen.
Kathryn Bigelow is the man!  Er.  Yeah.
Hurt Locker is probably one of the most intense, stimulating and engrossing films I have seen in a long time.  Strong characters, brought to life by stunning actors, are captured by breathtaking handheld camera work that will leave your jaw on the floor.  A true breakout performance by Jeremy Renner.
From the jump, Bigelow and gang bring the tension and it doesn’t let up.  Moment after moment, you follow the Bravo Company into the searing deserts of Iraq and you take the pounding right along with them.  Bigelow keeps the camera tight, bringing the audience up close and way too personal to the dangerous action that drives our characters into an unusual brotherhood.
I cannot recommend this film enough.  Bigelow is back with a vengeance.
